PACK 66 ANNUAL DUES & B.S.A. RECHARTERING
- Why Scouting?
- Why did you and your son join Pack 66?
- How is it different than other organizations your son belongs to?
- What is the purpose of Pack 66?
We all know Pack 66 is a "good deal" compared to the cost of other activities such as sport teams and various extracurricular endeavors. However, I think you joined Scouting for other reasons.
- Scouting can be a life-long passion.
- Scouting allows every boy to have fun and be successful.
- Scouting and the outdoors are synonymous.
- Scouting stresses character and duty to others.
There are many other reasons but I think we're on the same page.
Pack 66 holds fundraisers to raise funds but the amount raised can vary from year-to-year making budgeting a bit difficult especially at the beginning of the school year. Annual dues provide some certainty and are kept at a reasonable level of $84.00 for the year (March- February). This amount is split into three categories:
From education to high adventure, the Boy Scouts of America provides unique growth opportunities at a great value and we want all eligible youth to receive these benefits and participate in Scouting. No Scout is ever turned away for financial reasons and we fund raise every year to lower costs. If the annual dues are prohibitive, please speak privately to the Cubmaster or Pack Treasurer.
