SHAKER ROBOTICS TEAM GOES ALL OUT FOR PACK 66
Shaker High School's Robotics Team #2791 went all out for Cub Scout Pack 66 the night of November 17. The team designed a program with three stations covering one of the team's robots, basic coding utilizing Scratch and a design/build challenge with marshmallows and uncooked spaghetti strands. Over 50 people from Pack 66 attended with 22 of them being Cub Scouts ranging from first to fifth grade. For two hours, the team members patiently explained the intricacies of robot design and construction and entertained many, many questions.  The Pack plans to use the event as a jumping off point to interest Scouts in pursuing the BSA STEM Nova Awards.  (Photos courtesy of Nancy Casler.)
