Camping Trip/Harvest Fest @ Boyhaven
October 2-4, 2015

Camping two nights this year! Cabin available for adults not fond of tents!  (The cabin has a large kitchen equipped with a propane cook stove, refrigerator and ample storage and counter space.) All Scouts will be in tents. Twin Rivers Council Harvest Fest is also taking place on Saturday and will include “archery, crafts, spooky games and other cool stuff!” Feel free to come after soccer or football and join us for the day.  You can checkout the whole situation for next time.  However, do not be afraid to camp.  We will be holding counseling/info sessions for those afraid of tents and the ground.  A number of us have extra gear to share with those who need it.  We also have a cabin which may not be the Four Seasons but it is indoors if you prefer.  This trip is a good introduction to camping.  

A quick reminder of some official BSA rules for Family Camp Outs: 
- All children need to have an adult parent or guardian with them.  The guardian cannot be an unrelated adult leader in the Pack. 
- For the overnight camping part, children can share sleeping quarters with related adults or unrelated children but not with unrelated adults (even an adult Scout leader).
- Alcohol is not permitted at Cub Scout/Boy Scout events.
- No pets permitted.
